An interesting thought on how humanity works/thinks:
People want to
"just know it works!" but without all that reading/research.
"But someone else must test it"
When someone else does test it and reports extremely positive results:
"I don't believe you! "Everyone else must be using it 1st, then I might believe you"
So you link reports of other people who have tested it:
"Nah! They all lying too (or nutters! Like you!)"
So find an old engine that's about to be rebuilt anyway and test it for yourself:
"No...."
OK...
Scared it might work..? That you will be 'thrown in' with the other nutters..?
Generally this is where the fight starts:
"I'll kill you rather than think about that!"
I'm no shrink but seems to me there should be name for this craziness?
Some word for: "I wanna be in the big herd of nutters, NOT the small herd of nutters"
LOL!
Seems to me that if you herd the 2 groups together and name it you get: We're all nutters!
The
"If it's so good; why aren't the engine and oil manufacturers using it???"
Imagine YOU are an engine manufacturer:
Here's a new tech that will close you down leaving you penniless:
Do you welcome it or 'kill the messenger'..?
Imagine YOU are the oil manufacturer:
Here's a new tech that will halve your (very substantial) income:
What would your life be like on half you current income..?
Do you welcome it or 'kill the messenger'..?
Seems to me capitalism has it's downsides..?
