There's a filter you can set up so you don't even see my posts.
Shout if you want a hand with that!

My comments on price and that sort of control are universal)

Combined Heat and Power (CHP):
When the waste heat from a genset engine is used; the efficiency of the engine goes up from ~30% to over 90%!

This is big! Big to the point where there are online calculators on the site's of CHP purveyors to see if your house or block of flats or business/industry wouldn't save money by going CHP.
And a good number of examples of places that have!
https://www.google.com/search?client...%3A+calculator

NB that with Ammonium cycle Aircons and Heat Pumps it's more CHCP: Combined Heat, Cooling and Power

Control:
That new meter would be hacked to shreds in this house. NO-ONE gets to decide what's on and what's not here but me!
"Oooh! but you signed! You'll go to jail!"

" Oh thank goodness you warned me" Type thinking.

Thuck Fat! It's that kind of thinking that making the world the kind of place no-one wants to bring kids into anymore!
It should be a case of: "Yes but if we jail EVERYBODY, who will pay the taxes!?"
You must be thinking of someone else.
Combined heat and power is an excellent idea.
