I wanted a side by side, but my wife wanted french doors. I hate door mullions which is why I dislike french doors, but she convinced me to get another one... which is why Goodwill would not have had what we wanted.

I've got enough trucks and dollys to start my own appliance moving company, so that's not the issue. I listed the places I visited, and all require online orders and will not sell floor models. Best Buy allows appliance pick up... at their Seattle warehouse.
Oh, and the one I ordered online from BestBuy and got a "payment successful" message on their webpage, they show no record whatsoever of that order. Even shopping online is severely broken.
The way to be successful in business is to solve a problem you've got better than anyone else. I'm thinking of opening a "Refrigerators Only" store where people that want to exchange USD for a fridge may do so. I'll be the only game in town; a complete monopoly.
The deck nearest the kitchen is 15ft off the ground, so no racoons. I've got the food in totes to keep the squirrels out.
