Theoretically, yes, although the synthetic ethanol would be the easy part for the 'distiller'.
It's the other organic compounds and 'aging' they'd be tasked with 'duplicating'.
When I drank, the drunker I got, the less discerning I became, and once the 'house' was spinning, just before I threw up, it wouldn't have made a difference where the stuff originated ( Oskar Schindler's proverbial 'motor oil' ).
