Once you get some customers established that are regulars you could offer them a 10% discount if they can get better mileage than you. Make this an incentive for anyone that takes 5 lessons. That would give them the incentive to try harder when they are not taking lessons even if one beats you occasionally you still make $18. and it gives the customer a sense of accomplishment. Even though they are practicing between lessons so are you and part of your practicing will come at their expense while you're driving their car. That might get you more repeat customers and help get the word out. Tell them up front what your incentive is if they take 5 lessons. This is just a suggestion that I thought might be good for the business. Everyone likes a bargain and most people that really want to increase their FE would like the competition. The more you beat them the longer they feel like there is more to learn.
