Greetings

Hey All,

I have been lurking for a while now - and just wanted to post and say HEY.
I am just completing my first full tank of trying some of the techniques outlined here - and i gotta say this is increadable.

The car -
2000 Nissan Altima - 2.4 L 5 speed
last tank (old way) was 22.3 MPG (EPA for the car is 23 city)
I live in Atlanta 'Burbs - 12 mile commute - surface streets

what have i changed?
- no more fast accelorations
- try to limit hard breaking
- "pulse and Coast" - i am not up to EOC yet
- more "relaxed" driving style - no hurry - i will get there

I am looking into the scangage - but that might be a while ( just had 2nd child).... but clearly this forum is AWSOME

I found it on a LOCOST forum ( the build your own Lotus 7 car) - they had linked the AeroCivic as outside the box thinking.

Anyway - Just wanted to say HEY - and i can't wait to try some of the other ideas out.
