I almost bought a half-CRX (rear end) right before I got laid off, and was planning on doing something similar, but using the whole CRX upper rear section and having it welded together on my 4g4d.. then I decided that it was just going to be wayyyy too much work, and that it would end up a pile of metal in my backyard before it was finished, so I kept my $50.
