I'd love to attempt a kammback or boattail, but i'd rather not get pulled over...
I've driven across: TX,NM,AR,CA,NV,UT,CO,WY,MO,OK,KS,IL,IA,MN,MI,KY,TN ,GA,MS,LA,and Alberta,Province without ever being stopped.I thought a Chippie was gonna do it at Inyokern,California but he eventually dissolved away, did a u-turn and vanished. I had all kinds of crazy stuff on the cars, especially boat-tails,and raised nary a wink. The USDOT actually encourages MPG experimentation and allows big-rigs to run "illegal" length if it's in the name of mpg.Don't worry about it.
