Spent some more time on things this weekend:
  • finished making the ends for the 2nd front/rear batt cable (pack -ve) and got it snaked through the under-car conduit & hooked up to the "ignition" contactor (no more pack wires on the passenger floor!)
    .
  • mounted one half of the Anderson connector for the emergency disconnect
    .
  • made up a bracket to mount the clutch cable to point the right way to pull apart the Anderson connector
    .
  • cut up an old 10-speed bike to used the chain/seat stays for struts that will hold a panel over the transaxle to mount the remaining bits (low-pedal contactor, fuse, shunt, etc.)
I'm still aiming to have the car in to the mechanic this week. But there's probably more work to do than I realize...
