Aerohead, are you going to post some pictures and video ? We would all love to see what you are talking about.


Am I the only person in the world that thinks the orignial EV-1 ( the GM 'Impact' ) was a far better looking car than the production EV1 ?

With the Impact, the front of the car had air inlets ( why ? ) It really helped to balance out the appearance of the car. With the later design, the front end apperaed to have fat 'lips'.
The Impact passenger compartment appeared to have a more fluid curve to it and was the color of the body. With the production EV-1, the passenger compartment seemed to be a 'bubble' on top of the body with starnge curves.
At the rear of the car, the original Impact had a nice gentle slope from the back glass to the edge of the trunk lid. The tail lights were narrow and wide and gave the back end of the car better proportions ( not so fat / tall looking ) The tail lights then curved around the sides of the car and produced a nice crease to the flat slab sides of the car.

You would almost think that someone tried to sabotage the design.
