Wow. You learn something every day! I just haven't had the opportunity to delve into timing belt/chain stuff, other than replacement. Since I didn't get into the racing side, except for some occasional drag racing, I didn't know there were different pulley sizes for timing belt-related stuff, and so on. Underdrive v and micro-v crank pulleys and so forth, yeah, but then all of the racing I've done is small-block Chevy stuff...

I like the idea of bypassing the P/S pump, too. I'll try that on my donor if it has P/S. Cheaper than even buying a salvage non-P/S rack or gearbox!

Well, I knew that I didn't know everything when I joined here. What I didn't know was what I didn't know...
