Which reminds me, nothing in the first post accounts for animals running into your car (as opposed to your car running into animals). I had a deer come charging out of the woods and into my car about 6 weeks ago; there was absolutely nothing I could do defensively from a driving standpoint. Perhaps the deer are becoming militant...
