Walkable Reality
Stuttgart rated a 75 and it really is a walkable town. I live in Echterdingen, a suburb of the city, which only rated a 37. In reality my little town should rate a 70. It is 4 miles to work...which I walk or bike every day...has over 10 eating establishments within 10 minutes walking or less, two bicycle shops, 3 walkable miles from the international airport, walking trails to the neighboring towns, and more bakeries than you can shake a stick at. What more could you ask for?
