No doubt about it, the Generals are better all-around tires in your size. Have you ever considered Goodyear Eagle SR-As? Yeah, they are car tires, but they are terrific all-around tires.

It really come down to one question: How important is low rolling resistance to you as a parameter of performance?

For fangs-out low rolling resistance in a bigger tire, the Long Trail has to be considered. If other parameters are more important, forget the Long Trail.
