On the Southern side of the Equator we are in the latter stage of Summer so temps are hot (32 C today and 41C a few days ago and returning soon) and bushfires a constant threat.
Drought water restrictions are still in place and have been for about the last five years or so.
I found the thermometer I use for checking the fridge and freezer...it only goes as low as -10C !
