DPF is a huge fuel-waster on diesels. The filter induces back pressure which reduces efficiency. Then it uses diesel fuel to burn up the collected graphite. All that diesel and graphite gets converted to CO2 foir no appreciable gain.
Wait til these new diesels with urea injection start getting ammonia slip.
