I distinctly remember once seeing a cow car on the highway. And it was doubly cool because it was an old (early 80's) Supra all cowed up. (Doubly cool because an old Supra has potential to be "traditionally", automotively cool on its own, but the owner thumbed his nose at that kind of cool by bringing the cowness.)

I gave the owner the thumbs up from my rusty Camry as he passed me. (Yes, I was driving slow even back in my university days.) I remember he acknowleged the thumb with a grin.

I've never cowed a car myself. (I once painted flames on a lawn mower though. Not quite as brave, I don't think.)
