I see my copy of PaintShop Pro X also opens .dwg files.
If you email me a .dwg file, I'll compare which gives better results - IrfanView or PSP.
If PSP happens to give significantly better results, I'd be happy to convert a few for you.
PS. I suggested .png format for the conversion because it should give better compression (allowing for higher resolution) than .jpg.
