Current Mods:
filtered PCV. tires at 41psi front - 42psi rear. Sparkplugs with ground-straps clipped back to 1/2 way over tip and regapped to 0.030". 5w-30 motor oil. Small air-dam added. Stock exhaust header ported and wrapped with Thermotech insulator. Tinted windows.
15-June-2010: Scangauge2 added.
30-June-2010: WAI added.
02-Aug-2010: CTS-tricker box added.
30-June-2011: Installed underdrive pulleys for crank & waterpump. Replaced rear shocks and front sway-bar end mounts with Master Pro K80066.
//*note: June-2011 The driver-side rear tire has been making noise due to a jagged wear pattern caused by a failed shock absorber. I recently replaced the rear shocks, but this tire still makes noise and adds extra rolling resistance accounting for a slight decrease in mpg. The switch back to regular motor oil also showed a slight decrease in mpg in comparison to the 0w-30 mobil-1 synthetic.
The underdrive pulleys have increased the operating temperature of the coolant back up to the normal factory level of 210* - 230*F. -end note.//
