2 Months, No Gas! - Page 2 - Fuel Economy, Hypermiling, EcoModding News and Forum

I have access to a good public transit system (Montreal, QC), so I try to minimize car usage. I mostly drive for fun. In winter, I can go a long time without driving (1-4 weeks) because of the snow/traffic combination.
This winter was really harsh and I broke a new record: 315 miles and no fill-ups in 4 months minus 4 days!

I wish I could go that long without getting gas. Driving 25 miles each way to work is no fun.

Still haven't put gas in it, but at 400 miles and the low fuel light on, I think I'm going to go ahead and fill up next time I use the car. Don't think it's possible for me to do 3 months right now.

I need to try and start doing some hypermiling again, I've been slipping lately and keeping up with traffic, if not leading the pack....
