Anyone can relate to this while having car problems?

My friend decided to try engine restore. I had a suspicion that this will be a waste of money. So we grabbed a compression gauge and did a dramatic test. The sad day was recorded on camera:

I didn't even know about these tubes of despair until watching the video. Now I'm not sure which is worse; having no hope, or having despair. Clearly, no hope is unprofitable, but despair is like sayin' there's a chance!

Beautifully documented. The commentary is hilarious and witty. I'm anxious to see part II.

Thanks for the detailed review! The second part should be uploaded in a week. It will show how the state of the engine and more importantly the owner has changed after the 1000 kilometers (617 miles).

More than a 1000 km's have passed since some repair paste has been put in to the oil of this Volvo. It should've fixed all of the man's problems by now. So... did it?

I had difficulty hearing this over the police helicopter looking for pokeballs at 0230. It is weird one cylinder weakened while the other improved, but better overall, right?

I wonder what is the procedure for testing compression on my Prius, considering it doesn't have a starter?

Probably have to do a leakdown test instead.

Leakdown test is a much better test anyway.
