materails[sic]?
I bought 4ea genuine Moon hubcaps for $5 at a swap meet. So that's $1.25 each, although they weren't perfect.

So, one data point: swaps meets on Sunday afternoon. Anything that hasn't sold they won't want to haul back home.

Also check blueprint shops - I stumbled across one that also does signs and super sized posters etc on Coroplast. One time they had a huge scrap piece because the print job had messed up somehow so I got it for very little.

Next time I will go there with a 4x8 plywood plus some plywood cut into long strips 6" wide. Sandwich the coro between the full wood sheet and some strips around the edges. Screw layers together. Transport on station wagon roof or in pickup bed.

Oh, boy.

Please tell what city and state HD you found it in. And what department. I keep hearing that HD has 4x8' Coroplast sheets but have never found it in a HD store.

I looked it up on Home Depot's site. Buy on line only, supposedly not stocked in stores. Out of stock on line. Sold in packs of ten (!!) 4x8 sheets for $110. That is, if it were in stock. Single sheets were not listed. I talked a local sign company down to $25/sheet so $110/10 is a good price if it ever comes back into availability at HD.

Search "Coroplast" on Home Depot's site.

Looks like this goes in and out of stock for on-line purchase at Home Depot. Was available in spring, then unavailable in late May 2013. Today 6/1/13 it's available again.

Did anyone in the Northeast buy a 10-pack from HD? I only need four sheets. I might buy 4 from you if available.

I might get a 10 pack from HD, if you want some of it let me know. You'll need a pickup truck or similar to pick it up though!

Check your local industrial plastics supply houses for coroplast (available in many colors) , lexan, and other sheet plastics. They are considerably less expensive than the sign shops. In the SC upstate the local plastics supply house is Piedmont Plastics.
