I have two VX engines and transmissions I need to get rid of. I have a good low mileage setup in my VX and don't need these.
1. The first engine is complete by it has the head from a Civic Si (1992) on it. I have absolutely no idea of the condition. This was the engine in the car when I bought it. It ran but . . . . $100 OBO
2. The second engine is disassembled into Long block and head. This unit is in good shape. Reassemble it and you should be good motor. This one is missing the exhaust manifold and the sensors on the manifolds. $200 OBO
3. The first transmission came in the car and is greasy but may be fine, just dont know. $75 OBO
4. The second transmission is in good shape. $125 OBO
I kept these because I thought about doing a second VX. My current drivetrain has about 90K on it an runs beautifully. When I need to I will just rebuild this one
The prices will be plus ACTUAL shipping cost. If you are interested in any of this, I am sure we can work something out.
Bump
Before I haul this to the scrap yard does anyone need anything? I am not worried about what I make off this, I would rather someone use it than turn it into scrap metal. I will discuss any offer.
Hate to see them taken to the scrap yard, but most of use with civic VX's are seeing no engine issues at 250,000 to 300,000 miles, so there is not a lot of demand for them.
Only part I would want is the O2 sensor, but it sounded like it was gone.
Any idea on what shipping might be to wisconsin or michigan, zip 54311 or 48139? you can take anything off you want to save weight or size. but motor mount studs and or release fork, fork boot, clutch line ect i would still want (auto->manual swap)
I'm interested in the final driven gears... if you still have these transmissions... how much just for the final drive gear?
