The CRZ is one of the cars I am looking at. I would like to hear more about real life mpg numbers. It seems both the CRZ and G2 insight are capable of exceeding their EPA numbers with ease. I read that the G2 will make its highway numbers with the cruise set at 75. I would think that the CRZ, with an aero mod or two and a little hypermilin' might sniff 60 mpg on the right roads.

I poked around a bit; as I understand it's very easy for the average driver to get 40mpg, but beyond that you need to use driving techniques, much how some members on here take "35mpg" Civics and end up with 70mpg tanks.

I think the main drawback is the silly gearing. A re-geared CR-Z could far more easily put down some great numbers, but as-is pulse and glide is nearly required for highway driving.
