It wouldn't matter that the signal was shared - just has to be shared correctly.

It'd be wise to get the wiring diagrams for each PCM (I found mine on Google).
Check those and confirm the intended circuit each PCM requires..
I'm thinking along the lines of same operating voltages, and then ensuring the PCMs are of sufficient high resistance in the closed circuit state to not draw too much current.

I’m working on getting the diagrams as we speak and then will work on sourcing the other PCM and engine harness. Then again it might be simpler than I originally thought, I’ve heard of Cobalts that were simply PCM swapped for dirt track use

It might be that this was a simpler endeavor than I thought. Apparently I might be able to just re-pin the PCM connector and run the P11 PCM and have some warning lights on

It says that I have a p11 pcm in my l200, also in my 02 Alero. Both are throttle cable cars not drive by wire.

So apparently I can use an L series or N-body PCM as well as a J body? Interesting
