Good luck! The inspection can be nerve wracking on these older cars.

Thanks, and it passed with flying colors! Brakes and emissions were good, lights as well. Just an advisory to take a look at the sills regarding rust.

So now I'm legally able to drive 1 more year and I can start to do some mods ! Will hopefully put a temporary grille block on the car before saturday (250 mile trip).

I can't decide on a gauge. Either the ultra- or the scan gauge costs $35 just in shipping and handling, added to the retain price. Hate to pay silly money on shipment :/

Congrats on passing tech!!!

Looks like my MPGs are starting to approach yours. I'm still working on improving mine. Anxious to get the call that the wheels are all aligned & that there's new thin oil in it. That should make an improvement.

I've been reading-up on thinner trasmission fluid as a possible future step in my quest for "55-55" (55 miles per gallon at 55 miles per hour)

That is interesting, slightly cheaper than the SG II sent to my door.

That's a generous offer! Thanks!

New fill up tomorrow, and a longer round trip this weekend. Sadly no mods done yet.

Well this project has come to a standstill the last 4 weeks due to crappy life events.
Will hopefully get back to at least completing my front grille block.

Welcome! That's cool, although I'm from Stockholm.

I succeeded in my goal during my last fill-up, 47mpg or 0.49 l/10km !
Still have that generic tuneup to do within a couple of weeks.
