A few things I need to adjust or experiment with to see how much of a difference it makes are...
--Driving with load instead of cruise control. This one is iffy because my foot can never seem to keep a constant pressure on the highway...I wonder if it would help IF I used cruise control on the flat sections and DWL on the rolling areas...???
--Accelerating from a stop, keeping the RPMs below 2,000...gradually reaching my top speed or accelerating from a stop to 2,000-3,000 RPMs to reach my top speed more quickly. Which would save more fuel...???
Since I have an automatic transmission, I cannot perform Engine-off coasting...I wouldn't feel safe doing that anyway unless I knew the technique very well. What techniques can I do that are just as efficient???

Put instant and short trip mpg in big blocks on top and the rest in four small blocks on the bottom. I know there are five here- let % load and instant mpg fight over the last slot, whichever proves most useful to you.

Thank you. You typed instant MPG twice, did you mean to say something else?

Sorry, I meant to let % load and instant gph fight over which is more useful to you.

Really? But how would I know exactly when to engage and disengage the cruise control?
Also, wouldn't that be alot of wear and tear on the system?

Also, I'm worried about leaving the UltraGauge plugged in 24/7 for fear of it draining my battery...how do I prevent this???

Easy: look for hills! If you're driving where in hills, constant throttle or "DWL" (driving with load) is more efficient. If it's flat, cruise will be just as efficient.

Nope.
