It depends on the gate charge of the modules. It could be possible to parallel them, but those might be better off each.

MrBigh,

Intersted in a bare driver board if you have any. Last one is performing very well!

Sorry for being 2 months to reply. I've got the parts. If you've got bare boards, could you send me an invoice on Paypal? Darin@badfishracing.net

Looking for VLA500-01

Hello mrbigh,

At the moment I work on my second EV controller. The first one was P&S 500A controller for permanent magnet motor. This time I work on new construction, high power BLDC motor controller (30kW). The most expensive part of that project is the set of the IGBT gate drivers and of course the bank of the IGBT's transistors. The "IGBT bricks" are very popular here so there is no problem to buy a set of the IGBT's in good price, but to have some VLA's it is not so easy. Because of that I'm looking for 6 pcs of the VLA500-01 hybrid drivers. Can pay via paypal or t/t. I'll will be very grateful for your help.

Greg

Price and availability for kit?

Hi Mrbigh,

I'm building a go kart for my son. I have a 3 HP motor, an IGBT and an arduino and nothing else at this point.

I've been reading about the P+S controller (on page 260 of the thread, eyes bloodshot) and have learned a lot. Do you have a separate thread/website that talks about how your IGBT-based controller kit was developed? Also, I'd be interested in pricing/availability.

Thanks!
