The regenerative shocks are from Levant Power:

Levant Power Corp.

On the aero, I only recently learned (here on EM) the correct workings of air flow vs length vs speed. The 'Seven' has a Cd of 0.23, if I remember correctly? Which is pretty good, really.

Another drive over 200 miles on a single charge in a from-scratch EV:

Illuminati Motor Works: Blog

The IMW '7' has the equivalent of just ~1 gallon of gasoline on board. So, this trip was driven averaging 155Wh/mile -- a stunning achievement.

The Illuminati have entered the building!

Thanks for the kind words of support, we have worked very hard to achieve a real world vehicle that gets on average 150 watthr/mile. Critics aside unless you are offering to volunteer some CFD time to back up your critiques.
My next project should be near and dear to some of the readers here. I have rescued a Honda Insight chassis and plan on converting it to pure electric.
Illuminati is also a finalist in Jack Rickards build your dream EV contest Vote for Kevin Smith, You know you want to see a 1978 Gremlin getting over 100mpge, done in the style of an A-Team vehicle. If you choose to go electric we are more than willing to answer questions. It is nice to see so many people doing something about the problems they see in the world!

Thanks again!
Nathan K.

That really is an absolutely incredible achievement. Earlier I was being all negative nelly. I'm sorry about that. This is just extraordinary. Sorry about that, Nathan. You should be proud of such a spectacular accomplishment.

Hard to do better!

This is one of the communities that understands how hard what we are doing is. I think most of the contributors will also agree the vehicles we are sold are just plain works of engineering art. They may not be what we want, but they are darn good at what they do. I encourage everyone to use more efficient transportation what ever it’s from, and take advantage that government isn’t taxing us by the mile, yet. We have no agenda other than changing the paradigm. One day people may think that burning gasoline utilizing 25% of its energy to propel a vehicle less than 40 miles a day on average, and that sets for 95% of its life, and while it sets their the gasoline evaporates out of the tank. Just so we can fill the tank in less than 10minuets, one day people may see that as silly.

The hard working folks at Illuminati have not been sitting on their thumbs... They have made a major overhaul of the entire chassis of Seven, and they are planning on using it to them make molds and then make carbon fiber panels for less weight.

Why do you say that? I would have to try riding in the back of Seven to see how it is.

The all new bodywork looks great!
