Illuminati Motor Works 'Seven'
Hello,
The Illuminati Motor Works 'Seven" as you may know is an X-Prize contestant -- they were the only competitor to the Edison2 Very Light Cars in the Mainstream class, and they were eliminated because of a problem with their clutch. Well, they have fixed that, and have been refining the electrics and trying to balance the pack better. And today we get a report from Kevin Smith about a real world range test, and energy consumption numbers:
Illuminati Motor Works: Blog
Spoiler alert: the range at the moment is nearly 200 miles, and the energy used on that drive yielded 217.8MPGe -- both very impressive, indeed. I'm following their progress, and you should, too.

Thanks for the pics; the other day I tried to look at pics and my puter wouldn't bring 'em up. :/
Looks like they could have saved themselves a buncha work by hacking up a Speedster kit steada starting from scratch...

Neil -
I was channeling Tucker too, partially because of it's size.

It looks as if it was styled by a committee that was given a few pictures for inspiration, and then assigned different parts. "It has a certain syrup, but it doesn't pour."
