AFAIK exhaust wrap also allows the catalyst to heat up sooner, decreasing the so-called "cold phase" which is where most of the harmful emissions are generated. Seems ideal for a hybrid, considering its engine would be operating in a more intermittent way in city driving. Maybe a full exhaust wrap could be considered, as it would also likely allow you to get a grille block while fewer residual heat would be trapped at the engine bay.

unfortunately the cats are in the engine bay about a foot from the engine.

but I did some more looking under it at lest 30% is covered(what can be a belly pan)

i think it would be possible to work with the rear end belly pan

all i would have to do is close the gaps as it's just randoms things that are occupying a lot of space

gas tank on the right and muffler on the left

i'll have to figure out how to attach it though not sure how i'll do that (using existing holes )

Why do you need to use only existing holes? It's a lot easier to drill new holes and insert rivnuts into them, allowing you to screw bolts straight into them.

Fair enough - but it will make it very hard to do a good job.

what about using recycling bumpers from the side of the road
then i could buy the Newer model year mirrors that are more aero then the old style from 1999.

yeah i moved the wires around got 26mpg hyw with a head wind With A/C on
26 is pretty good not even the 2021 can touch that



but MAF wires or it self is having an issue as i messed with it and the SUV performed almost flawlessly
