"steel" means its aluminium wheel that is pressed from sheets and looks like normal steel wheel. Conserning those aluminium steel wheel when buying from the internet safest way to be sure its aluminium is to try with magnet. Usually the wheels center piece is about >5mm thick

More wheels and pictures:
OTTO FUCHS KG: Car

I will try to write those fuchs wheel list to here but today I dont have the time for it. In short Fuchs wheels are one the best wheels you can buy if you are searhcing for light and reliable wheels.

More citroen and renault stock "steel" wheel will follow later when I have weighted the rims...

Reason why I would like to make also this kind of list is that these are usually very cheap to buy as there are many of them produced. You could get the Citroen C5 wheel for 30 € a set and thats a bargain.

If you have deep pockets or want more looks you can check this list:
WheelWeights.net - Database of Wheel Weights

I will try to make similar exel on these OEM wheels...

Too bad pressed-aluminium wheels are not so common.

Mazda Miata wheels are relatively easy to find here in the US
Unlike most you list there

Table of Wheel Weights

I used the 5.2kg/11.5lbs ones myself. Paid like $150 for a set of four.

Don't forget center bore sizes. They make a difference in fit and affordability.

The VX wheel is generally listed at 9.7lbs and the 1996-2000 HX wheel at about 11lbs.

Here's my list from my car's garage page... there are links to further info on the page itself, under planned mods...

Possible wheel swaps for gearing/weight advantages:
13" Civic VX 8 spoke (higher RPMs but only 9.7 lbs.)
14" Civic HX 8 spoke (approx 11 lbs)
15" Mini Cooper R81 Imola 7-hole (12.1 lbs)
15" Mini Cooper R86 star-spoke (15 lbs)
15" Mini Cooper R96 7-spoke (13.8 lbs)
15" Enkei Classic J-speed (14.1 lbs)
15" Enkei RP-F1 (9.5 lb)*
15" Kosei K4R (10.7 lb)*
15" Konig Helium (11.2 lb) 40mm offset, hub bore 73.1mm*
15" Acura Integra GSR (94-95, 16lbs)
Other size specs to double-check for any possible swap: Offset 35-45; bolt pattern 4X100; lug size 12mmX1.5; hub center bore 56.1mm minimum (larger needs spacer rings). For more info see 1, 2, and 3 (for general wheel size data across models).

thank for the list, do you think VW jetta mkiv wheels could be there lights ones?

Volkswagen Golf Standard Wheel Sizes: Offset, PCD, Centre Bore for Golf MK1, MK2, MK3, MK4, MK5 and MK6. | Which Wheels stock wheel optional, offset pcd hubs data etc

hub 57.1 mm
16x6.5 in 5x100 ET42 (steel from 00' New Beetle weights 9.0 kgs = 19.8 lbs)
15x6 in 5x100 ET38 (it seems there are some O.E.M. VW 15 in AVUS alloys with 7.5 kg or 16.5 lbs) but what about steel ones and other vag group 15 in alloys?

my 16in alloywheel with dunlop sport 205/55/16 new spare tire weight 18.8 kgs = 41.4 lbs

16x6.5 5x100 ET42 Skoda Alloy wheels weight 9.6 kg = 21.2 lbs
tire Dunlop SP Sport 2000E 205/55/16 9.2 kg = 20.3 lbs

I have michelin energy tires (B rr A wet grp) but i don't know the weight of them yet.

i will soon dissamble the alloy wheel so I can compare in same conditions.

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/resul...0&autoModClar=
from 13.6 lbs to 24 lbs aftermarket alloy wheels

and if you do same search american michelin energy tire weights 9.5 kgs or 21 lbs

some questions about A3 "steel" rims:

i did some search in vag parts catalog and there are a serieal number with A in audi a3 5x112 steel wheels and in 2004 octavia there are with A and with ending K.
but i think in spain there were no pq35 platform with 15 in steel wheels sol.
i have to buy them from the dealer with correct serial number or do you think with winter tyres there will be cheaps in somewhere?
