I didn't do too much research but saw the eibach kit was around $250 for a 2 inch drop, and the tein were $140 shipped for a 1.7 drop. Most reviews said the tein springs were a waste of money because they lowered the car very little; but being my daily driver and the fact I'm 30 years old I wanted something soft. The s tech springs were double the spring rate of the factory springs but don't seem to ride any differently

I should also mention the bump stops on the struts seemed to have seen some abuse so I am certain they were sagging lower than the we're intended to

It also helps that I am running the factory 14 inch wheels with the factory size tires, pictures I have seen of a 15inch rim and a low profile tire make these springs look almost like stock

I think you did well going with Tein. I had Eibach springs before and they weren't all that great. The clanking noise I mentioned was especially annoying. I've since moved on to coilovers on my EK.

Looking good. Those are some large diameter tires for an EK (I assume 185/65 R14?), so it doesn't need a very large drop for the wheel wells to be properly filled.

I wish you luck Chrysler kid. Mine had to come back up close to stock height and I'm still a bit miffed about losing 1.8 to 2.2 MPG. I got back .3 MPG but going with a lightweight Crank pulley. and got back the "rides like its on rails," by adding a rear anti sway bar. I know I'll find the rest and more, but Its going to taking some thinking and math. and I'm too tired to think it out today.
BTW, you got a good deal on the Teins springs. Since I've seen them for much more $$$$ before I bought my "D2 Racing" brand suspension. But I was going cheap not by brand reputation.

Geez, I just checked the price on "D2 racing" and its up $212 more than I paid.

I had been looking at the h-tech springs but they were about $20 more and basically a 1 inch drop where most s-techs are roughly 1.5. I was against coilovers because there are no daily driver reviews, everyone is riding them slammed to tuck low offset wheels.

I was going to buy then from a racing or aftermarket website but by chance I googled them and the Google result showed $138.95 on autoanything.Com the link went to the $150 price but I messaged a site rep and they gave me the price plus a dollar off.

My car has never really been about hypermiling and I doubt I'll see any mileage increase with my city commute.

Also handling is low on my list of priorities it's not like my 115hp economy car is going to do any spirited driving. So no rear sway bar; to be honest I really like that it doesn't have one. The car takes pot holes like a champ

My camaro is lowered on eibach pro kit springs and the car rides terrible. Granted the eibach are ten years old now, and have 80 k miles on them

Cool. In Europe they come with 175/65 R14. Yours looked bigger so I figured 185/65. The US size is better, the Euro one requires a larger drop to look right.
