Both test were ABA both directions on the road and mods on and mods off.
On the drive test I had temp setting to +29 celsius and more speed with the fan.

Stand by test Fan settings was only blowing to windshield and legs. The rear vents are under the drivers seat but the foam and the wall blocks that flow so you cannot get air going behind that glass. I will check if there is center vents for the rear seats, but I think not in my version.

I tested stand by mode fan speed at minimum and temp settings to 20 celsius. Car still stops the heat pump if the inside temp got too hot you dont need more fan speed. Outside temp was around +4 celsius only.

I have an Exped Megamat 10 inflatable sleeping mattress which goes with me on long trips so I nap at the tesla superchargers on what si something between a queen and a full sized mattress 52" x77.75" ( but actually the usable space is more like 60" wide so it really is like a queen .

I run my rear view camera ( no need to use the rear view mirror) and fold that mattress up to make the wall stopping a few inches from the back . I also preheat the cabin on high to 108 degrees (I'm out of the car) to preheat the interior body panels for residual heat when driving.

I also use evannex Heat shield and all windows are covered and top roof glass and falcon wing door glass except for my windshield and side windows .

I then can drive for about 75 miles without turning on the 20 degree weather. I use my seat heaters as it starts to get a bit chilly and after 100 miles I cave and run on the heat as my windows start to fog anyway by then.

Sometimes I fill a MSR dromedary bag (10 liter) half full with hot water , which I out on my lap or behind my back and toss a light weight Rumpl down blanket atop that - makes a heated cocoon on top so heat is now all around and so the heat barely has to be on. At the next Supercharger which is likely in the middle of nowhere I can quickly reheat the water with my camping stove to make hot cocoa or cook some vegetables while I'm waiting to recharge.

To avoid getting into too hot a car after it is preheated I quickly vent the car when I get in by opening the falcon wing doors - the heat by my head flows out quick and whatever coat I was walking in outside while charging , has enough cold air and chill on it so I don't overheat at all while it starts to warm up thanks to thermal lagtime. And by the time it has warmed up, the car is already starting to cool down.

I have a feeling much of that 4 kw usage is probably just being used to heat the battery itself. What does it show with the climate control turned off? Insulating the battery is probably something they don't do as heat in the summer is a bigger issue than cold in the winter for most EVs.

Suggestion:
You try to keep the entire car warm instead of just keeping yourself warm.
If your car has heated seats, use them to just heat yourself instead of heating the entire car.
Set the fan controls to windshield only so it doesn't fog up and run thr fan+heater at low power.
In case your car does not have heated seats, there are heated seat covers or however they are called.

Normally everything related to heating is off. Testing was to try to find does the wall help or not and how much.

Battery heating is 6kw, but battery has been hot in all tests. ID3 only heats battery once to 13celsius.

ID3 uses 0,3-0,4 kw at idle when on. Seat heating is 0,1-0,3kw depending on number 1-3 levels. Steering wheel in the same range. Normally seat heating at 1 is enough or at zero depending how much I have clothes on.

I just intalled gyeon antifog Q2 so windshield should not get so foggy. So I can drive even less heating and fan use.
