No idea until I test it. Stock mirrors were already folded in and are not very big, might see 1 mpg. Less road noise would be worth it to me since i drive so much on the highway.

Today was a good day! Though I still have 1 mirror to delete, 1 wheel skirt to fabricate, and 1 side skirt to install, I managed to set a record for MPG on my commute home. I was at 47.9 before I had to climb the hill to my house and finished at 44.4. The conditions were good but not ideal, not a lot of wind and no drafting. If I can get a nice tailwind and a semi to draft I think I can get home on less than 1 gallon of gas, used 1.06 today.

^^ Nice!

That's banging on the door of what I can do with my hybrid. You are my new inspiration, I think I can make my truck do as well as that - maybe.

41 mpg on my fill up this afternoon. Almost beat my old record which was done on ethanol free gas. Going in the right direction.

I am tossing around the idea of trying a roof spoiler/kammback. 9" long and around 12 degrees, see picture for example. Any ideas if i would see any benefit from this? Also thought about adding the extension to the back of my tonneau as well, dont really know what to expect though.

I remember when GMC ran an S-10 at Bonneville they found the least drag by only covering the rear 2/3 of the bed, with a solid wall from the front of the cover down to the floor of the bed.

Got home on less than 1 gallon of gas today! .98 to be "exact" according to the ultragauge, that is one major goal down. Now I need to finish up my aero mods and see how much closer i can get to 50 mpg!
As you can see from my ultragauge capture, my engine was only on for 27 minutes of my nearly 46 mile commute, with takes a little over an hour. I think that is pretty damn good P&G EOC.

haha the ultragauge divides miles traveled by run time.... must not have been taking EOC into consideration!
