Nobe EV trike

Remember the Nobe retro electric trike?

Back in 2017 and 2018 they were fundraising, but since they did not draw a lot of attention.

But they sought out Munro Associates and got them involved. As in building the thing for them...!

Chances are this is really going to happen now.
I want one. If only, you know, circumstances...

That's super cool from the front. The rear with the wraparound led light bar doesn't really match aesthetically, though. Also: woof. $39k for a three wheeler.

Still, I hope it actually gets made. As much as I want to like the FUV, it's a fair weather vehicle which doesn't cut it here.

Side-by-side seating on three wheels always has this problem with proportions. The front end fares worse in a frontal collision, and the passenger is more vulnerable.

With Sandy Munro's input, FUV will probably get the tubular upper frame replaced with aluminum castings to enable a reasonable solution for doors.

Cool. Reminds me of a cross between a BMW 2002 and an Alfa Romeo sedan.

This deserves to succeed based on the styling alone.

It's gonna be expensive to fix when the owner backs into something though!

Sandy Munro literally begs Tesla to help them build the Nobe (and Arcimoto...)

towards the end of this item on his take on Battery Day:

Wow. Okay...

Big ol'

"So long and, Tesla, my number is in the book" sez the guy who asked for chassis castings and Tesla amazed him with how fast they iterated.

Arcimoto's most intractable problem is the tubular upper frame. I just hope when they go to castings they do a wide-body approach like the Celera 500L.

Really, really hoping this gets made, and made in RHD.

It's 3wd hub motors and good clearance make it great on sand and snow.

If it does come in at ~$12k this will make a perfect second car counter point to my Cybertruck.

If they're short enough, I can get three cars into my garage, so this would help there
