I took it like "Are you serious?" Like, "what a jack***". That's why I was confused. I have said this hundreds of times, there needs to be a icon following every post so you get the guys/gals attitude at the time. The same post can be taken several different ways.

EDIT: or we can do like we do over at Bodybuilding.com and type (serious) when we're serious. (serious)

It's working! That's exactly what he wants us to think

Very professional looking video, Darin. As always, you promote ecomodding in a clean, documentary style format that people can understand. Very nice.

When is the canvas and aluminum one going to be constructed/implemented?

great video

love the intro with the other cars with explanations

its easy to understand for those not familiar with the effects of aerodynamics on mpg
(maybe in a school classroom setting)

i wish it said 8mpg gain under the 15% at 7:30
i think that wouldve immediately struck home to watchers out there

Thanks for the feedback, everyone.

Aloha: providing results in absolute "mpg" terms is potentially a problem - it requires the baseline mpg to be presented with it to give proper context.

EG: an 8 mpg improvement on a 20 mpg truck is a vastly bigger change (in terms of volume / $ savings) than an 8 mpg improvement on a 55 mpg subcompact.

true

im not saying to omit the 15%

but underneath it say:

(8mpg gain in my case)

purely for those who are too lazy to look back a few screens and do math
(again im thinking basic consumer/classroom setting)

telling someone they can save 10% is different then telling them they can save $100

im sure we've all met the person who says:
"I can go 200 miles on twenty bucks"
You: So whats your mpg?
"I dont know, but I can go 200 miles on twenty bucks"
