That's a really interesting frame design. Two straight rails and a roll bar.

I hadn't noticed the steering gearbox mounted on the traverse spring mount. Now I'd want that on a car like the one I posted in Permalionk #737.

Which is it then: that set up because you can tolerate higher cornering "G" forces OR are the mechanical restraints the cause?
