Flow sure looks good.

The cyan semi-circular strips are flexible, if I understand correctly. Stanced Beemers run similar clearances.

What was the final Cd figure? 0.25 or something?

See my car's mod & maintenance thread and my electric bicycle's thread for ongoing projects. I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

Based on quoted top speed compared to the standard vehicle, I work it out at Cd=0.33.

Addition: When Aerohead was sending me details on his vehicle for inclusion in my book it soon became obvious that a lot of what he was saying was of somewhat doubtful validity - like an absurdly low Cd measured in a tiny wind tunnel. I then asked for the top speeds in standard and aero-modified forms, did the calculations and got a Cd of 0.37. Dr Wolf then corrected my maths and got a Cd of 0.33, the one I have quoted above. I chose not to run any claimed Cd figure next to the truck.

At DARKO, between the two trips worth of testing, as a 'camera', BEV, unibody, with restored belly pan, Spirit would be flirting with Cd 0.1995, without the stinger. This would be the minimum.
Since we had the Gen-III Prius as a blockage-ratio calibration model, there's a reasonable probability that Spirit would have measured Cd 0.1819 for the same configuration at the A2 Wind Tunnel. Lower with the stinger.
Hence, the 39.9-mpg @ 65 mph, and 128 mph according to the race team computer at Bonneville.
It also addresses BamZipPow's trailer mpgs.
