Seen on CNN: Hydrogen used to Increase Mileage

I just saw a video on CNN.com about a guy who invented an electroylosis device that converts water to hydrogen and helps improve mileage from 15% - 40%. The video should still be up for viewing. The device costs $1500 and is only avaible in CT right now. I'm skeptical.

Well if it's on the news, it must be true. Oh, wait, SCOTUS ruled the media can lie, it's part of the 1st amendment thing...

Yeah, right. I see (or would if I watched TV) politicians making all sorts of promises, ads for products that're supposed to improve everything from my sexual attractiveness to the odor-free status of my toilets, and guess what? I don't believe any of them, either :-)

It was posted as an FYI, not something I believe is true or will work.

What I'm saying in a round-about way is this "guy" on CNN didn't invent $hit, this has been around longer than the automobile, and it has NEVER improved anyone's mileage. So CNN is perpetuating lies (nothing new) by having an extremely short memory, as it was only 3 years ago when fuel prices spiked like now. Every time fuel prices spike, all these charlatans make these ridiculous claims and gullible people lap it up.

It's like diet "pills", no one wants to lose weight through exercise or changing bad habits, and no one wants to change their wasteful driving habits. They want a magic bullet for that gas hog.
