Possibly some North of Engerland trips, and Ingleston, plus 1/4 mile racing at Crail.. assuming it passes muster with the old bank account

any suggestions?

My track experience is limited, been round Oulton Park a few years ago when I worked for the Southerners in Cheshire and we got a works day out, plus a couple of "rally experience" days, and my Knockhill birthday bash where I got "Driver of the Day" without having to buy the trophy

Put in your dates, I'll try and drag A-junior along. Spare time is always limited though...

This tyre was on the rear of the 535i at the Last trackday we did..

Started with 4mm of tread, did 34 laps in 2hrs and then promptly failed an MOT..

seems that 1500kg Plus fatpie driver= Lots of load on the tyres

Scary bit is its a nexxen- renound for their plastic like complexion and lack of grip- still managed to melt and marble it!

The mud is from moving the car in and out the unit..

Now replaced with 16" new tyres, so back on the way to more track action!

Its in having an MOT after :

new (to us) front struts

Rear Pitman arms
Handbrake shoes
Rear lights fixed

Next track outing looking like 12th Nov

Now MOT'd and taxed!

First tank in too- its listed on the left..

additionally, on the theory that lowering = better aero

By a freak of nature we stumbled across these

KW Coilovers!Look scabby but just need a clean and surface rust removing, plus new Topmounts

even better

Fitted with e34 m5 Calipers/Discs

Plus new bearings and braided front lines

we'll get them cleaned up and possibly change the fluid/seals then we're onto a winner..

now to figure out how to fit them

if ur replacing all that u may wanna look into new front control arms, as thats where ur front wobble while braking is coming from, trust me, i have two e34s. lowering it will decrease the wobble but itll come back when it gets worse. the one i drive with bad control arms i baby by engine braking a lot.

so have u done a hwy mpg run with it yet? im curious to see what numbers are gonna be close to once i gut mine. also what are ur run times? where do u race? scca member? (too many questions lol)

edit: scratch the last couple q's, scca is america, i just noticed ur in scotland which would explain the 535i which didnt make it to the usa, we only got the 525i, 530i, and 540i until 1989 then it was only a short run till 93 when it was replaced by the m60 engine family.
