wide mirror connection method is to use zipties and little rubber feet. I needed two layers of rubber feet because the mirror is very curved. I had to drill into the backing of the mirror to make it work. At some point the OEM mirror adjustment broke, hence the clothespin. I do not know if the curved mirror hastened its demise.
