Picture 5 of 6 from Album Grape Ape's Asylum
1925 T-Bucket / 365 Cadillac V8; '39 LaSalle 3 on the floor tranny and rear end (enclosed driveline)

I've always wanted to get a golf cart to drive around the neighborhood in. Get it all street legal like the old farts. Use it for beer runs n stuff ;)

Now that I've got a little grey in my beard, I think it's high time I got something electric to putt the local streets. I'm going to use this for my first EV conversion and it's going to get the forklift treatment. I have an acquaintance that owns a forklift sales yard and will sell me one of the junkers with blown hoses and bad tires but a good motor.

I'm thinking of putting on a short mast from a trailer cargo forklift and actually have it lift things around my property lol. I can make it detachable like a snow plow on a pickup <grin>

But this way I can learn about the electronics in an open air car that I don't have to be a contortionist to get under the dash. If the fiberglass body gets in the way, I'll remove that too haha
