It works in both position for me. It only stops lb it if you flick the switch during lb operation but it can immediately return in lb after. HTH.

With the Potenza on flat ground at 60 mph I see 100-105 mpg when in lean burn. Tires inflated at 55 Psi front 50 Psi rear.

Also VTEC mode is at 2750 rpm.
