I'd check the airfilter, pull it out and take it for a ride... um... drive? to see if top end speed increases. I'd replace the fuel filter, and check the fuel tank vent system, as well.

I too replaced all of my lifters. Wasted my $. Sad thing is the engine was supposed to be freshly rebuilt. The builder reused the old pistons. The edges of the skirts were razor sharp.
