I know that GM has had the technology to kill the fuel on a certain amount of cylinders depending on how much throttle you give it for years... Don't know how well that will play in in your ride...

gasolne has almost no lubricating properties any more, and water is actually more viscous then gasoline (better lubrication).

I think you could use any fuel injector for water.

Modern EFI injectors are all stainless internals...

Modern EFI injectors are all stainless internals and are therefore capable of handing E85 or straight water. The catch is that you have to use distilled water otherwise the EFI injector will clog...
