8.9 seconds to 60MPH is plenty quick for any situation. It gets 84 MPG - it's got to have tall gearing, so it is not going to be as quick as if it had performance gearing.

Off topic but have no problem defining a vehicle by its weight class. A 700 lb 4 wheeler shouldn't have the same tax rate as 4k + lb 3 wheeler. The wear on roads from the extra weight.
