I searched Google Images for 'bubble-top coupe' expecting to find the 1964 1/2 Mustang and the gull-wing Mercedes 300SL, but it's all 1959-62 GM hardtops. The only Mustang is a notchback.

The phrase "bubble top car" produces a much more interesting array.

This brings back fond memories of my old '61 bubbletop Impala. Same colors, white and red. I wish I still had that car but time marches on.......Chumly

Googled for images of bluff bodies in close proximity to ground plane.
