$109.83 a month

To drive 1423.4 miles a month so far in 2014.
7.7 cents a mile combined.
My medical insurance is $310 and that's only half, wife's employer pays the rest.
House been paid for a decade.
Property taxes and other insurance gets up there.

Not sure if I changed any of the oils, it's just getting too cold or I'm getting too old. Pop came to see the vehicle for the first time. I think he liked it but he could be faking it. I think he would be happy with anything that got me off a bike.

I really only need the truck and the trike, had the original timing belt replaced in the truck at 132k miles almost twice my total gas bill but it should last the rest of the trucks life and the odds are it will get hit in the arse around here every few years if I decide to let them.

regards
Mech

You could look at it like this. I sold some old silver coins for 14 times face value. I guess you could claim that it only cost me $109.83/14 a month. About 25 cents a gallon. Amazing how close that is to what it cost (gas) in 1964.

7 cents? Are you going to factor in the free tank of gas the car came with assuming they still do that?
