15" Non-Beadlock Mud Cover Mounting Ring

Checkout what I found. Apparently for Sprint and Midget racing cars they have wheel covers called Mud Covers. I found a 15" mounting ring that fits into the lip of a non-bead lock rim and has three mounting points for a wheel cover. The mounting ring appears to have an expandable section to fit the wheel snugly.

The mounting ring is a great idea and I think the graphic makes the covers look pretty good. About $50-60 for cover and ring isn't too bad. Wouldn't be a bad idea for an Ecomodder item with a nice graphic like that.

I contacted Allstar Performance and they will not make any other size than the 15". Maybe using a longer screw and some bending it could be made to work with a 16" rim.

Even though the blurb in the picture says it will work with any rim I think they are referring to any sprint car rim which have very deep dish rims. It looks like these might fit into the lip on a steel wheel.
